Embark on a tour through the alleyways of one of the most special neighborhoods of Jerusalem, Beit Yisrael, where Hasidic shtiebels, and Kavkazi, Afghan, and Kurdish synagogues coexist. Hear about the draining of the swamps in Jerusalem, see where the first Jerusalem winery was established outside of the city walls, enter the original Nechama Bakery, observe local preparations for Shabbat and the distinct Haredi lifestyle in the neighborhood, and pass by the buildings of the Mir Yeshiva – the largest yeshiva in Israel.
