RUN JLM guides
Do you love to run? Tower of David Jerusalem Museum and RUN JLM invite you to experience Jerusalem through your feet!
What is a “running tour”?
Especially for those who love exercise and running, instead of walking between interesting points along the route – we run! Between running segments and facing the amazing views of Jerusalem, we stop for short, precise, exciting explanations…and continue to run!
The tour passes the most beautiful and impressive sites in the Old City and its environs. Through running, with short breaks for a bit of clear, mountain air, we get to know Jerusalem, its history, religions, multiculturalism, complexities, and the inspiration concealed within it. The guides of RUN JLM are licensed tour guides and trained running and exercise coaches, so you are in good hands (and feet)!
Route: Meet at the First Station, Emek Refa’im, Greek Colony, Talbiya, Ketef Hinnom, Mishkenot Sha’ananim, King David St., Mamilla, end at the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum.
Tour appropriate for those who love to run and can run about 5 km or more. Comfortable running pace, appropriate for a group. Please arrive in running clothes and running shoes, and bring a bottle of water.
Tour is not circular. You can leave your vehicle in a parking lot next to the First Station complex (at Liberty Bell Park there is a free parking lot). The tour finishes at the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum and you will need to return to your vehicle independently – about 10-15 min walk.
Meeting Point: First Station Complex
