Paris Square, is a busy and noisy place during many hours of the day. But over the years, the square has become more than just a central intersection for vehicles. Due to its proximity to the Prime Minister’s residence, it has become a social and political center, hosting protests, rallies, and meetings.
Learn about the originas of the square and about the buildings and sites that encircle the site. Why is it called Tsarfat Square? Were there really plans to copy the Eiffel Tower here? We will tell the story of the windmill next door and hear about the neighborhood homes and the hotel. Additionally, we will visit the historic Terra Sancta building, used in the past as the temporary home of the Hebrew University, and the synagogue brought from Italy to Hechal Shlomo. Finish with an expansive observation point over the city from the rooftop of the building.
The tour includes entrance to a church and a synagogue, please dress modestly (no sleeveless shirts or shorts).
