Tower of David Jerusalem museum staff
Five days of fun, adventure, and bonding at the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum, and select sites in the vicinity, for children finishing 5th/6th grade.
We invite you to get off your screen and gain experiences!
Activities include bonding games, special workshops, tour of the Museum, VR experience at the Western Wall Tunnels, visit to Mishkenot Sha’ananim neighborhood, fountains at Teddy Park, and ice skating at the First Station, and other surprises. All this while getting to know the history of Jerusalem, the city we all love.
Includes hot lunch!
Activities led by the professional staff of the Tower of David, together with teen counselors.
The camp will be held partially outside (mostly in shady areas of the Citadel), and partially in the air-conditioned galleries and the entrance pavilion of the Museum.
Sunday: introductions, scavenger hunt, games to get to know each other, printmaking workshop.
Monday: Riddle of the Menorah activity at the Tower of David, races, ODT, fountains at Teddy Park.
Tuesday: tour and games in the Jewish Quarter, VR experience at the Western Wall Tunnels, art workshop.
Wednesday: ascent to the famous minaret, giant Jerusalem monopoly, trip to Mishkenot Sha’ananim neighborhood, “ice skating” at the First Station.
Thursday: activities at the Yehoram Gaon exhibit, fountains at Teddy Park, concluding activities and goodbye ceremony.
- Minimum number of participants required.
- Registration for individual days is not possible.
- Hot lunch included (main course and side dishes – food that children love).
- Please let us know if your child has any food allergies or is vegetarian.
- Breakfast – each child will bring from home
- For the tour in the Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall, there will be a security guard
- Dedicated WhatApp group will be opened for registrants to be used for updates as needed.
Recommended equipment:
Hat, breakfast, water bottle, comfortable shoes or sandals (not flip-flops or slides), sunscreen.
