The Rehavia neighborhood, known since its beginning as an exclusive neighborhood, was home to the leaders of the Jewish community and the Haganah, along with doctors, lawyers, historians, thinkers and academics. The neighborhood was the first garden neighborhood in Jerusalem, well-planned, with a neighborhood committee, coffee houses, hotels, and cultural salons.
Embark on a tour centered on the neighborhood’s houses and residents who were among the designers of the state from its inception. Tour the neighborhood’s streets and see and hear about the following sites: the Rehavia windmill, the Molho family home, Cafe Rehavia, Beit Hahalutzot, President Ben Zvi’s home (Yad Ben Zvi), Levi Eshkol’s home and more (does not include entry to sites).
Meeting Point: France Square next to the fountain
