Rehavia Stories
Tour of the houses and the people of the first garden neighborhood
The Rehavia neighborhood, known since its inception as an exclusive neighborhood, was home to the leaders of the Jewish Jerusalem community, doctors, lawyers, historians, philosophers, and academics. The neighborhood was one of Jerusalem’s first garden neighborhoods, well-planned, with a neighborhood committee, coffee houses, and cultural salons. We embark on a tour centered on the neighborhood’s houses and the people living there, counted among those who designed the early history of the state.
Tour in the streets of the neighborhood and see the following sites: Rehavia windmill, Molho family house, Cafe Rehavia, Beit Hahalutzot (Pioneers’ Home), Ben Zvi’s presidential home (Yad Ben Zvi), Levi Eshkol’s home and more (does not include entry to sites)
There are public protected spaces in several places along the route | It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing.
The tour is subject to a minimum number of participants | There may be changes due to weather | Private group tours can also be arranged – for details > *2884 | [email protected]
