Street Games
Interactive architectural experience
Starting on the 31.7, a new exhibition will open in our rotating gallery. An interactive architectural experience based on the books written by architect David Kroyanker. The exhibition will display illustrations of buildings and of architectural objects that represent the walls of the old city, and the five Jerusalem streets: Meah Shearim, Haneveim, Yaffo, Ramban, and Emek Refaim. By way of these urban illustrations, encounter the various styles of Jerusalem architecture from the 16th century until today.
Come meet the visual dictionary of the city. Connect the doors, windows, gates, and ornaments with one another, and create your own Jerusalem streets and buildings. With the help of touch screens simulating sketch tables, digitally wander around the Jerusalem area, and design a new building to be projected on the walls of the gallery. The projected buildings will generate a collective Jerusalem Street that incorporates the visitor’s own creations.
In addition to the exhibition, we will also offer creative workshops for children based on the contents of the exhibition.
