The Anglicans

Many Faces –  Tours about communities and families in Jerusalem (Heb.)

Friday, 9.2.2018 I at 10:00

A tour following the Anglican Church, which opened the ‘race’ for the influence in Jerusalem between the various communities and the great powers.

We will visit the Church of Christ and the Anglican Hospital that were built in the city in the 19th century and changed the landscape, geography and ethnic balance in Jerusalem.

We will leave the Old City to the Garden Tomb identified by some of the Protestant communities as the site of Jesus’ burial, and finally we will visit St. George’s Church, the seat of the Anglican Bishop in Jerusalem, where we will meet with an Anglican priest to discuss the challenges, disagreements and cooperation in the Church today.
