Accessibility at the Tower of David Museum

 

The Tower of David Museum is located in the ancient citadel of the city of Jerusalem that was built to protect the city from invaders.  Despite its age and its complexity much of the site is wheelchair accessible.

The Museum staff is happy to help with all requests in order to enable everyone to have an enjoyable experience at the Tower of David.

  • Handicap parking available next to the Jaffa Gate entrance (by pre-arrangement)
  • Entrances, exits and most walkways are wheelchair accessible
  • Handicap lifts and ramps are located throughout the museum
  • Special assistance available by pre-arrangement
  • Accessible lavatories
  • Audio Guide in many languages available
  • Reduced ticket prices for holders of Disability Card
  • Accessible coffee shop
  • Most galleries are wheelchair accessible (not including the First and Second Temple Galleries)

Please note, the panorama tower is accessible only by climbing a flight of stairs
