Ronnie’s Jerusalem
Lectures at the Tower of David and tours in the Old City in memory of Professor Ronnie Ellenblum
From the very beginning, Professor Ronnie Ellenblum, historian and researcher, was a full partner in the actualization of the vision and the content of the renewed Tower of David Jerusalem Museum.
In the winter of 2021, in the midst of the project, Ronnie suffered a heart attack. Despite this tragic loss, the Museum that opened in June 2023 faithfully reflected his multicultural philosophy which values the historical and cultural richness of the city.
On Friday, January 17, we will mark 4 years since his passing with lectures, and a variety of tours in the citadel of the Tower of David and in the Old City, guided by top researchers in their fields: Prof. Dan Bahat, Dr. Shlomo Lotan, Dr. Orit Ramon, and Dr. Amichai Schwartz.
