    What do a historian, linguist, painter, photographer, and writer have in common? They all lived in a neighborhood planned as a small town and left behind a rich legacy of creativity. We will tour Old Talpiot, visiting the homes of early 20th-century thinkers and artists. Walking through its streets, we will learn about their lives, their work, and the imprint they left behind. We will read entertaining texts, view inspiring works of art, and visit homes with unique stories.<\/p>

    We will begin at the home of S.Y. Agnon, uncover details about his life and writing, and hear what happened when a distinguished historian met a talented writer on the street. We will see works by Abel Pann, the legendary painter who adorned his models with clothing and jewelry from distant lands, and recount an unforgettable Jerusalem wedding photographed by Yaakov Ben-Dov, the first local photographer in the Land of Israel.<\/p>

    We will conclude at the home of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, exploring why the reviver of the Hebrew language never lived in the house he built for himself – and who was truly the driving force behind his life\u2019s work. There, the current owner will host us and speak about the organization \u201cThe Mark of Atonement and Peace,\u201d which now operates on the site.<\/p>
