    Jerusalem Syndrome is a unique psychological phenomenon in which the history, stories, traditions, and religious associations surrounding Jerusalem can cause visitors to lose touch with reality, imagine themselves as messiahs or harbingers of redemption, and fill the city\u2019s streets with unusual behavior and extraordinary scenes.<\/p>

    On this tour, we\u2019ll explore this fascinating phenomenon, learn about psychogeography<\/em>, and discover the theological ideas that have developed around Jerusalem in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. We\u2019ll wander through the winding alleys of the Old City, hear the stories of people who experienced Jerusalem Syndrome firsthand, and look at the Holy City from a somewhat different perspective.<\/p>
