The Tower of David, Jerusalem Museum is located in a medieval citadel near the Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.<\/p>
Arrival and parking arrangements<\/strong><\/p> The main entrance is the original citadel gate, about 200 m after the entrance to the Old City from the Jaffa Gate, in front of the post office.<\/p> The museum does not have reserved parking spaces. However, by prior arrangement, you can drive up to the museum gates in a private car and then park in one of the nearby parking lots, Karta or Mamilla.<\/p> Public Transport<\/strong><\/p> .Bus line 38 to Yitzhak Kariv Street (circular line from the Jewish Quarter).<\/p> .Bus lines 13, 18, 38 to King David Street<\/p> .Light rail – get off at the “City Hall” station, and walk east towards Tzahal Square and the Old City (about 500 meters).<\/p> Handicapped toilets<\/strong><\/p> The museum has two accessible restrooms accessed by a lift, one near the main stage and the other near the east exit gate.<\/p> Elevators<\/strong><\/p> There are two new elevators in the museum, one near the main stage to access the exhibition rooms and a second elevator accesses the intermediate level. In addition, there are lifts that access the toilets, a moat, and the the top gallery.<\/p> Entry with a service animal<\/strong><\/p> You can enter the museum with guide dogs and emotional dogs.<\/p> The exhibition and observatories<\/strong><\/p> All the showrooms are accessible, with the exception of the introductory gallery. The room will be fully accessible upon completion of the construction work of the new entrance building.<\/p> The observation from the top of Phasael Tower is not physically accessible, but is technologically accessible through 360 photography.<\/p>
