Tour - Mysteries of Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid (in Hebrew)
This tour marks 321 years since Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid immigrated to Jerusalem, and it includes a walk in the Jewish Quarter to discover on of the most mysterious puzzles in the history of Jerusalem - the story of Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid and his entourage of immigrants which appeared at the gates of the city in 1700. During the tour, learn about the secret of the man wrapped in white clothing, try to understand the clues hinted at during his sweeping sermons, and discover his fate and the fate of his students in Jerusalem. Visit the synagogue in where he prayed and try to delineate the outline of the Ashkenazi court; visit the Hurva synagogue, and hear the story of the students of HaGra, who, in the 19th century, asked to continue from the place where Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid left off.
