Visitor information

The museum is temporarily closed. You are invited to explore Jerusalem From Home>>

Welcome to the Tower of David Museum, located inside one of the most important and exciting historical sites in Israel - the ancient citadel of Jerusalem. Located near the Jaffa Gate, the main entryway to the Old City, the Citadel has been of major importance for thousands of years.  The museum presents a collage of cultures, religions, and different historical periods that tell the exciting story of the city of Jerusalem.

The Tower of David is undergoing an historic renewal and conservation project and this is an opportunity to get a peek into the work going on in the courtyard.  Because of the construction work on site, visitors are only allowed to visit the BANAI exhibition.  Tickets must be purchased on line.  There will be no tickets sold at the gate.  Currently, the exhibition is not accessible for wheel chairs because of the construction work.  Our apologies.
