Explore Jerusalem From Home
TOD is temporarily closed but you can still explore Jerusalem by just looking further down this page!
In the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and in consultation with national and municipal authorities, The Tower of David Museum will be closed from March 15 and all Museum events have been postponed.
Together with the authorities, we will continue to monitor developments and regularly reassess this temporary closure. We look forward to soon announcing the reopening of the Tower of David and welcoming back our visitors.
We know you want to know more about Jerusalem – so we are updating our site every week with new and innovative ways to learn more about the city!
Many of the films are 360 degrees – so remember to use your mouse to move around and explore the citadel, the Kishle excavations – King Herod’s Palace, and our magnificent views. If you have a VR headset – now’s the time to get it out.
And keep following our blog, you can learn of secret recipes that have cured epidemics in Jerusalem before – or how the city functioned during the time of cholera or dip into great Jerusalem recipes!
We will continue to share with you and look forward to welcoming you back when the Tower of David Museum reopens
