Tower of David Jerusalem Museum Guides
The Temple Mount is the most prominent and unmistakable symbol on Jerusalem’s skyline. During the tour of the Temple Mount complex, listen to the story of the Jewish Temples and the remnants that remain, and view some of the most beautiful architectural structures in the world – the golden Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The tour will explore the traditions and sanctity of the site in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, as well as historical, architectural, artistic, and contemporary political aspects of this most central place in the Middle East.
Meeting point: Mughrabi Gate (entrance to the Temple Mount), near the Western Wall
Please note: Modest dress required. No tight jeans, low necklines, or clothing with military/political slogans.
Women – long sleeves, high-neck shirt (no cleavage), long skirt or trousers.
Men – sleeves to the elbow, trousers to the ankle.
Entry with weapons is prohibited. Police prohibit bringing religious artifacts onto the site (storage lockers are available but neither the museum nor the police take responsibility)
Comfortable shoes recommended | Please arrive at the meeting point about 10 minutes before the tour begins.
