For thousands of years, people have looked up at the lights of the night sky. Beliefs, legends, and myths have been woven around the moon, inspiring countless songs and stories. On the nights of the full moon, join us for an evening tour exploring ancient traditions connected to the moon, its central role in the calendar, and some of the most beautiful songs inspired by it. Along the way, we’ll discover how the moon continues to shape our language and imagination today.

Our tour begins on Mount Zion with a visit to the Tomb of David. As we walk, we’ll climb to scenic viewpoints to admire the full moon rising above Jerusalem’s rooftops, allowing its glow to transport us to another time. We’ll conclude the evening in the magical atmosphere of the Citadel at night, enjoying hot drinks, cookies, and songs accompanied by guitar beneath the open sky and the light of the full moon.

Meeting point: Zion Gate.
Ending point: Tower of David
