This Sukkot, the Citadel will be filled with sounds, experiences, and Jerusalem magic for the entire family. Three days of tours, games, costumes, music, and more surprises – alongside a visit to the exciting new exhibition on the life and creative legacy of Yehoram Gaon.
Musical headphone tour, family music quiz, theatrical tour about pilgrimmage to the Temple, costume station, soap bubbles and childhood games, climb to the top of the minaret and more. Our Sukkah will be open to all, next to HaMigdal.

Activity Stations:
Station 1: Musical Headphone Tour
A musical tour of the Citadel with wireless headphones—combining guiding, songs, and dances that will take participants on a musical journey from Jerusalem to the Tower of David.
For ages 6+
Station 2: Family Music Quiz
An interactive and entertaining game on songs about Jerusalem, with prizes for the winners.
For ages 6+
Station 3: Theatrical Tour about Pilgrimmage to Jerusalem
A guided tour and encounters with actors throughout the galleries and Citadel, including climbing up to the Phasael Tower viewpoint.
For ages 5+
Station 4: Costume Station
Kings, queens, knights, ladies, and pilgrimmage visitors are invited to dress up and take photos against the backdrop of the ancient Citadel.

Station 5: Soap Bubbles and Childhood Games
A colorful, free-play experience on the Citadel lawn.

Station 6: Climb to the Tower of David Minaret
A unique panoramic view of Jerusalem from the famous tower.

Station 7: Yehoram Gaon: The Exhibition (independent visit)
A celebration of Israeli culture and creativity marking 70 years of Yehoram Gaon’s career.
The exhibition features interactive displays and rare videos, manuscripts, personal items and iconic hats from his private collection, and an audio guide narrated by Gaon himself. Includes the transparent studio – an opportunity to record your own cover song and receive a personalized video souvenir. The exhibition spans two galleries and concludes with a view from the Phasael Tower.
The Tower’s Sukkah will be open to everyone, next to the HaMigdal Café.
