Facing the walls of the Old City, we will set out on a tour in the spirit of the Days of Selichot, Elul, and Tishrei. We will explore the essence of Jerusalem during this special time of year, the uniqueness of the season, renewal in the urban landscape, and growth against all odds.
We will walk through Mount Zion and see the squills in bloom, continue through the Hinnom Valley and learn about its discoveries, and tour Mishkenot Sha’ananim while hearing about the pioneers who ventured beyond the city walls and the builders of Jerusalem.
Route: Old Train Station, Mount Zion, Hinnom Valley, Mishkenot Sha’ananim, Jaffa Gate
Meeting point: First Station complex – David Remez Street
End point: Tower of David
The ticket includes admission to the “Singing Love for Jerusalem” performance, which will take place after the tour in the Citadel Courtyard, hosted by Tal Ne’eh.
