Singing Love for Jerusalem – for the Days of Selichot

Tours of the City and a Musical Performance in the Citadel Courtyard

On Tuesday, September 15, join us at the Citadel for a special evening in the spirit of the Days of Selichot in Jerusalem.

For the first part of the evening, choose from four special tours (guided in Hebrew):

✦ Like a Squill Flower – Renewal Beneath the Walls – Mount Zion, Hinnom Valley, and Mishkenot Sha’ananim
✦ Open the Gate for Us – A Selichot-inspired tour of the Jewish Quarter
✦ Man, Why Do You Sleep? – A Selichot tour from Mount Zion to the Tower of David
✦ A Port City on the Shores of Eternity – Jerusalem in poetry and literature, through Mishkenot Sha’ananim and the Hinnom Valley

The tours will take place near the Museum and will conclude at the Tower of David.

Following the tours and a short coffee break, we will meet in the Citadel Courtyard for the musical performance “Singing Love for Jerusalem,” hosted by Tal Ne’eh, where we will sing some of the songs of this beautiful season.

Comfortable shoes and warm clothing are recommended – the performance takes place outdoors.

7:00pm “Singing Love for Jerusalem” performance
