A tour from David’s Tomb to the Tower of David, following in the footsteps of King David and other figures who passed through this landscape and left their mark during the Days of Selichot. We will hear about David’s poetry and prayer, about the valley that was transformed from a place of Gehinnom into a center of culture, and about a line that once divided Jerusalem and became woven into its poetry and longing.
Route: David’s Tomb, rooftop of David’s Tomb, Wall Builders Garden, Jaffa Gate
Meeting point: Zion Gate
End point: Tower of David
The ticket includes admission to the “Singing Love for Jerusalem” performance, which will take place after the tour in the Citadel Courtyard, hosted by Tal Ne’eh.
