Come dance with us at the Tower!

Join us for festive dance events set to the beloved songs of Yehoram Gaon and other classic Israeli tunes, in the magnificent setting of the Tower of David Citadel.

At the first dance evening on August 5, the beloved Jerusalem dance leader Mimi Kogan (“Dancing with Mimi”) will host renowned choreographer Shlomo Maman, the “guru of Israeli folk dance” and recipient of the Israel Prize 2025.

At the second event, we’ll dance together with well known Israeli folk dancer Shlomit Nagar.

These events are part of a special series celebrating the exhibition “Yehoram Gaon: The Exhibition”, marking seventy years of artistic contribution by Yehoram Gaon | The ticket includes free entry to the Yehoram Gaon exhibition | subject to availability.

First Dance Evening: Tuesday, August 5
With Mimi Kogan, hosting Shlomo Maman
5:00-6:00pm – Visit to the exhibition (subject to availability)
6:00pm – Doors open, light refreshments
6:30pm – Dancing begins
8:30pm – End of event

Second Dance Evening: Sunday, September 14
With Shlomit Nagar, “The Joy in Dance”
6:00-7:00pm – Visit to the exhibition (subject to availability)
7:00pm – Doors open, light refreshments
7:30pm – Dancing begins
9:30pm – End of event
