An evening of learning, creativity, movement, music and inspiration, inviting us to reflect on what we are asking forgiveness for, what we want to leave behind, and what we want to carry forward.

✦ Movement Workshop – ‘Here, Like Clay in the Hands of the Maker’: A movement workshop for body and soul, led by Batya Daniel, dancer and movement teacher.
Location: Minaret Plaza
✦ Learning & Conversation – ‘Together, We Bless the Morning Stars’: A conversation about the hour of sunrise and the works created in response to it. Led by Ido Nitzan, lecturer and researcher, and Roni Eldad, poet and poetry editor.
Location: Roni Hall
✦ Writing Workshop – Led by Dr. Noa Shargaji, poet, researcher and editor of the literary journal Ma’ale.
Location: Spice Garden
✦ Guided Night Tour of the Museum Galleries – We will look at unique archaeological objects and explore the concept of ‘forgiveness’ from the perspective of 3,000 years of history. Led by the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum guides.
10:00pm | Performance by the Ja’ala Ensemble
Selichot piyutim in an authentic Eretz-Israeli style. A moving live encounter with an ancient and deeply rooted tradition.
We invite you to choose your own personal connection to the concept of Selichot – through words, texts, the body and the shared historical story of us all.
Come as you are. With curiosity and an open heart, for a moving and special evening among the walls of the Old City.
