After the invention of the camera, Jerusalem began to appear in photographs documenting the city, its sites and people.
Embark on a tour of the photographers, the places, and the personalities immortalized in the camera’s lens. Begin at the new gallery “Eye on Zion” at the Tower of David, presenting a collection of historical photographs of Jerusalem during the modern times; visit an old Armenian photography store boasting 3 generations of Jerusalem photographers; and finish with a visit to the photo collection of the Old Yishuv Court Museum.
