Elite, famous Jerusalemites, and also consuls of different nations are represented on Ha-Nevi’im St. The street, nicknamed the “Street of the Consuls” and the “Street of the Hospitals”, was given its official name, “Ha-Nevi’im St” during the days of the Mandate.
Wander along the street and pass by the German Deaconess Hospital, Tabor House, Sandreczky’s Children’s Hospital, Provost House, Anglican Bishop’s House, the Italian Hospital, the Ministry of Education, and more.
Tour is offered in conjunction with the exhibit “Street Games”, an interactive, architecture experience inspired by the books of architect David Kroyanker.
