“Street Games” is an interactive exhibit based on the vast research of architect David Kroyanker, whose books on Jerusalem architecture are his life’s work.
Visit the galleries of the renewed Tower of David Jerusalem Museum examining the architecture in the city through history and the renewal project at the Museum. Learn about the builders of the wondrous building projects in Jerusalem, such as the Temple Mount complex and the Temple, the Byzantine Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Dome of the Rock, and the styles of building during the various Muslim periods. See the development of building in Jerusalem during modern times through the giant, impressive model from the 19th century created by Stephen Illes. Hear about the challenges of renewal at the Museum due to its status as a preserved site, and finish with a visit to the exhibit “Street Games”.
