Quiet Time
Accessible visit to the Museum during "quiet hours"
The Tower of David Jerusalem Museum is happy to invite children with special needs and their families to enjoy a fun, cultural, and accessible visit to the Citadel and the exhibit halls, including appropriate guided tours of the Museum.
At Quiet Time, the Museum will be open for a quiet experience during times when it is closed to the general public. Only a limited number of visitors will be allowed entrance.
Quiet Time visits are accessible through:
· Limiting entry to a small number of people
· Guiding targeted to a wide variety of cognitive abilities
· Noise-canceling headphones
· Designation of a quiet room
· Availability of a sensory map where different areas of the Museum with bright lights, loud sounds, and flashing lights are labeled
