Many songs have been written about Jerusalem, and many artists have crowned it with praise, but the story of “Jerusalem of Gold” holds a unique place. Between Independence Day and Jerusalem Day, at dusk, we will set out on a musical-historical journey in the footsteps of the song that became the city’s anthem and soundtrack. We will trace the events and stories behind the song—from longing for a walled city to a prophecy that fulfilled itself. The tour begins at Teddy Park, ascends to Mount Zion, and continues into the Old City.
Meeting Point: Teddy Park
End Point: Tower of David Jerusalem Museum
The ticket price includes the performance “Singing Love in Jerusalem,” which will take place after the tour in the Citadel courtyard. Special guest: Shuli Natan.
