Additional Details
★ The camping experience is intended for children in their Bar/Bat Mitzvah year and their parents (no siblings of other ages)
★ Arrival: Thursday at 5:00pm | Departure: Friday at 12:00pm noon
★ You’re welcome to stay and explore the museum galleries until closing at 3:00pm
★ Please bring: change of clothes, toiletries, a hat for the morning, bedding/sleeping bags, and an open mind for new connections and shared family experiences
★ Bringing your own tents or mattresses is not permitted
★ There are no showers on-site; restrooms are nearby and open throughout the night
★ Food: vegetarian/vegan options available (please indicate during registration). All food is kosher (Chief Rabbinate certification)
★ We care about the environment! Please bring reusable dining kits (plates, cutlery, cups). Observant guests – please bring separate sets for meat and dairy. Dish soap and sponges will be provided
★ Parking is at Karta lot, a 2-minute walk from the Citadel. You will receive a parking sticker upon departure
★ Feel free to bring musical instruments 🙂
★ The site is secured by armed guards 24/7
★ Our team will be available throughout your stay for any questions or needs

11:00pm – Campfire, marshmallows in the moat + beers for parents & music

5:30am – Optional wake-up for sunrise at the lookout (tea & cookies for early risers)
7:00am – Breakfast, packing up, and organizing
08:00am–10:00am – Tour of the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, and the Ramparts Walk
11:00am–12:00pm – Closing circle & farewell
You’re welcome to remain in the museum and explore the galleries and grounds until closing at 3:00pm.
